Certified fitness instructor Russell Lee offering free exercise classes as part of BPL Summer Reading
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama-If you want to get in shape this summer, take advantage of some free exercise classes being offered at several Birmingham Public Library (BPL) locations during June and July as part of its 2016 Summer Reading activities. The classes will be taught by certified fitness instructor Russell Lee, who will also give a brief talk on general exercise safety.
The classes are free of charge. Attendees are urged to bring their own exercise mat and a towel. Wear suitable attire and tennis shoes.
The objective of the classes, offered for both teens and adults: Promote exercise and help people to realize how essential it is, regardless of age.
A little exercise on a regular basis goes a long way,” lee said. “Something is better than nothing.”
