Black and white photograph of workmen posed with Vulcan's leg during raising it to the top of the pedestal on top of Red Mountain. The man in the center, wearing the white coat, has been thought to be the statue's sculptor Giuseppe Moretti; however, he died in San Remo, Italy, in 1935 at 78 years of age.

Black and white photograph of the Vulcan statue atop Red Mountain. This image won an award for O.V. Hunt in a local photography contest. He highlighted the statue by retouching the outline of the statue and pedestal, which created a halo effect.
